Publication Process

Publication Process

  1. Preparation: adapt the manuscript to the guidelines and complete all required declarations.
  2. Registration and submission: create or use your OJS account, complete metadata, and upload files. Do not email the manuscript.
  3. Editorial screening: the editor checks scope, minimum quality, structure, anonymization, originality, and ethics.
  4. External review: as a general rule, two specialists conduct double-blind review.
  5. Editorial decision: rejection, minor revision, major revision, or acceptance is communicated.
  6. Revision: upload the revised manuscript and a point-by-point response within the assigned deadline.
  7. Acceptance and charge: after academic acceptance, the applicable publication charge is communicated. Payment does not alter the scientific decision.
  8. Production: copyediting, normalization, typesetting, and galley preparation are completed.
  9. Proofs: the corresponding author reviews and approves proofs within the assigned period.
  10. Publication: the DOI is registered, galleys are published, and metadata are disseminated.

All file exchanges and decisions must remain within OJS to ensure traceability.
